Clinical and etiological profile of onychomycosis in Lomé (Togo)

Objective: The aim of this study was to describe the clinical and etiological profile onychomycosis at Lomé (Togo). Patients Method: This is a descriptive prospective study, carry out from September 2020 2021, on patients seen for in public dermatology services Results: During period, 108 (1.7%) 6230 new had mycologically confirmed onychomycosis. mean age 43.03±14.5 with female predominance (sex ratio: 0.2). Yests (60.2%) were isolated group fungi followed by dermatophytes moulds 26.9% 12.9%. Candida albicans preferential location hands (p<0.01) Trichophyton rubrum feet (p=0.03) pathogens.
